It’s an Oily week! Starting with Correct-X

Each day this week we are going to take a minute and go over a few different oils. These are going to be oils that my family keeps on hand and uses daily!

I love to share my oils. When friends or family tell me they aren’t feeling great, I go right to my Modern Essential Oils book, check out the symptoms and give them the oil that I feel would be best for that.

A coworker of mine said he took a snowboard to his shin, so I had some Correct-X on hand, gave him some and asked him to use it consistantly over the weekend. The pictures below are from applying it a couple times a day. The picture on the left is on Friday, a day or two after it happened. The picture on the right is on Monday when he came back to work. Not completely gone, but you can certainly see the difference in it!

A little bit about Correct-X:

TMJ

Do you know what TMJ is….besides PAINFUL?!

 TMJ disorders — a type of temporomandibular disorder or TMD — can cause pain in your jaw joint and in the muscles that control jaw movement. The exact cause of a person’s TMJ disorder is often difficult to determine. Your pain may be due to a combination of factors, such as genetics, arthritis or jaw injury.

It is painful! I know, I’ve been suffering from it! I have found a recipe that I thought I would try out and it has really helped with the pain!

I simply added

10 drops of Frankincense

10 Drops of Lavender

10 Drops of Copaiba

10 Drops of Peppermint 

The rest Fractionated Coconut Oil in a 15ml roller bottle

Try it out! I put it on my jaw bone and down the side of my neck and just rubbed it in!

Anger Management

Do you have the days when you are mad or you get mad super easy? Let’s face it, we all do!

I’ve helped you out again! I’ve found this recipe for you that helps promote peace, relaxation, happiness and calmness.

Now I add a couple extra drops of each essential oil because I use bigger roller bottles.

You are going to apply it on your wrists and back of neck. These are two good spots.

Remember, you can get the Roller bottles at Aroma Tools.

6 Drops of Bergamot

5 Drops of Lavender

3 Drops of Frankincense

3 drops of Juniper Berry

Remainder filled with Fractionated Coconut Oil.

Alzheimer’s Disease

Do you know someone who has #Alzheimer’s Disease?

Alzheimer’s is a progressive and fatal disease that attacks and kills brain cells, causing a loss of memory and other intellectual capacities.

I’m sure if you don’t know someone who has the disease you know someone who does. It’s most commonly diagnosed in individuals over the age of 65. As the #disease progresses, individuals who have it often experience mood swings, long term #memory loss, confusion, irritability, aggression and then a decreased ability to communicate.

Most diseases are hard to watch a loved one get, but this one, to me is really sad. You have an individual who was so strong in their earlier years, not be able to live daily the way they were use to.

Do you remember the #diffusers that I talk about? Well we are going to get into that again.

There are 2 ways I would use oils to help with Alzheimer’s. Now remember, #essential oils do not cure it.

The first way is in the diffuser:

2 drops of #Coriander & 4 drops of #Lemon in a diffuser with water. Diffuse it 15 minutes daily.

The other way I would use it would be in a roller bottle:

5 drops of #Frankincense

5 drops of #Sandalwood

5 drops of #Cedarwood

Fill the remaining of the rollerbottle with #Fractionated Coconut Oil.

Apply this to the brain stem area on the back of the neck. I also applied this on the under side top of the big toe. I used this mixture on a loved one who had a stroke. Message me with any questions!! Feel free to share any of these posts with friends too!

Oils are for everyone…even Olympians!

I use to think I was an athlete. UNTIL my husband took me snowboarding for the first time when I was 33! I realized sometimes I can be just a big ol’ baby! It was the first thing I felt like I couldn’t conquer! I could get up, but I couldn’t stay up! I would catch an edge and keep falling. I cried so much! I felt bad that my husband had to keep waiting for me so I finally said, “just go, you go and leave me here!” So he DID! I was a little taken back, but I told him to so I couldn’t be mad at him!

Which brings me to an article I read on Jamie Anderson, the USA Olympian Gold Medalist. The article “What’s in my bag?” was so cool to show that essential oils are for everyone!!!! It was so awesome to see doTERRA oils were in her bag!!!

The Essentials
“I have a lot of doTERRA essential oils. Ylang-ylang is one of my favorites, also frankincense. I have a Mario Badescu rosewater spray and I’ll add some ylang-ylang into that. I also have some On Guard for getting on a plane. I’ll put it in my water. It’s a great immunity booster.”
