Toothpaste!!

I know that I have written about our toothpaste before, but let me just tell you a quick story.

I hate going to the dentist. You know what I’m talking about because you hate it too! So I went to the dentist last week after 3.5 years!! I KNOW….that’s a long time. But hey, if they don’t hurt and you are brushing, why go? They always seem to find something wrong right?!

So I went and the hygienist said, “when was your last appointment? 6 months ago?” I said…”uh try 3.5 years ago!” She said “Well whatever you are doing, keep it up because you have no plaque!” And then she proceeded to ask me if I floss everyday, which I don’t really.

Anyways the reason I tell you this is because I switched about 2 years ago to the OnGuard Toothpaste! I use it a couple times a day and it has had a major impact on my teeth, gums and no plaque!

If you are afraid to switch from your ordinary toothpaste, just try our sample packets of the OnGuard toothpaste. I keep them in my travel bag because they are handy and if you fly, they meet the size to keep in your carry on without having to throw them out at security!

What are you waiting for? If you haven’t started getting your essential oils at wholesale pricing, DO IT TODAY!

Copaiba Oil

Have you heard of Copaiba Essential Oil yet? I love it! It’s what I put in my TMJ blend that I made.

What is Copaiba Oil?

Copaiba essential oil is a distilled oil from an oleoresin called copaiba. This resin is produced as a sap from a tree in South America from the Copaifera genus. Although the resin itself can change its color depending on the ratio of resin to essential oil, once the oil is distilled out, it should be pale yellow in color with a slightly bitter taste and an aroma that is reminiscent of the balsam of the tree. Copaiba is considered to be one of the most anti-inflammatory substances on earth, yet much of the world only uses copaiba as a lacquer or varnish. In traditional medicine, this essential oil has been used extensively by indigenous people and is now spreading around in the world.

The active components in copaiba essential oil are quite powerful, consisting mainly of terpenes, which are hydrocarbons that have significant effects on the functioning of our body. Fortunately for us, most of the side effects of the terpenes found in copaiba essential oil are very beneficial for our health. That being said, if you consume too much of this potent oil, it can cause stomach issues on par with food poisoning. Fortunately, allergies to this essential oil are rare, and it can be used both, for topical applications, and in a diffused state in aromatherapy.

Some of the benefits are:

Eliminates scars, relieves congestion, reduces pain, eliminates infection, improves mood, it’s a diuretic in nature, prevents fungal infections & lowers blood pressure.

Word of Caution: Excessive use of this oil can lead to stomach problems, but generally, this essential oil is very safe. It may be rare, but if you’re willing to put in the effort to acquire it, copaiba essential oil can be a very powerful weapon in your ongoing journey towards great health.

TMJ

Do you know what TMJ is….besides PAINFUL?!

TMJ disorders — a type of temporomandibular disorder or TMD — can cause pain in your jaw joint and in the muscles that control jaw movement. The exact cause of a person’s TMJ disorder is often difficult to determine. Your pain may be due to a combination of factors, such as genetics, arthritis or jaw injury.

It is painful! I know, I’ve been suffering from it! I have found a recipe that I thought I would try out and it has really helped with the pain!

I simply added

10 drops of Frankincense

10 Drops of Lavender

10 Drops of Copaiba

10 Drops of Peppermint

The rest Fractionated Coconut Oil in a 15ml roller bottle

Try it out! I put it on my jaw bone and down the side of my neck and just rubbed it in!
